The Catholic Sabha, Bajpe Unit, took the initiative to organize a vehicle blessing ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church, Bajpe, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, providing parishioners an opportunity to seek God’s protection and guidance for their journeys.
The blessing of vehicles was conducted following the 5:00 p.m. Holy Mass on Saturday and the 7:30 a.m. Holy Mass on Sunday. The priests blessed the vehicles brought by the parishioners, invoking God’s protection upon the drivers and passengers and praying for safe and peaceful journeys.
The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder to the faithful to entrust their travels to God’s providence and to seek His guidance and protection whenever they set out on their journeys.
As part of the programme, sweets were distributed to all those who participated, adding a joyful and cheerful touch to the occasion.
The initiative of the Catholic Sabha, Bajpe Unit, was warmly appreciated as a thoughtful gesture towards the parish community. More than simply blessing the vehicles, the occasion encouraged parishioners to recognize the importance of God’s presence and protection in their everyday travels. It concluded with a prayerful hope that all who travel may be guided by prudence and responsibility and experience God’s protection and care on every journey.
