The Karnataka Regional Youth Convention (KRYC) – “Yuvajanotsava – 2025” will be held at Karwar from Oct 2nd to Oct 5th. The KRYC cross is journeying through every parish of the diocese and it was received by St. Joseph’s Church, Bajpe on 13th September 2025 at 4:30 PM from the St. Francis Xavier Church, Ferar. The occasion was marked with great devotion and reverence.
A solemn Holy Mass of the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross was celebrated. The ICYM members of Bajpe unit led the liturgical service. The spiritual atmosphere was further enriched by a Taizé prayer service “ಜಯ್ತಾಚ್ಯಾ ಖುರ್ಸಾ ಸಾವ್ಳೆಂತ್” led by Rev. Fr. Roshan DCunha and team. The parishioners of Bajpe along with ICYM members joined together in prayer, seeking the Lord’s blessings on the convention and on youth.
On 14th September 2025 at 5:00 PM, the KRYC Cross was formally handed over to the St. Joseph the Worker, Church, Vamanjoor, continuing its spiritual journey.
The event witnessed active participation of parishioners, youth, and the faithful, reflecting unity and deep faith within the community.
