The Summer Camp organized by St. Joseph Church, Bajpe, was successfully held from 23rd to 25th April 2026. The three-day event began with a graceful and well-coordinated inauguration ceremony on the opening day.
The program was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza, Parish Priest; other distinguished guests included Rev. Fr. Jesudas, Spiritual Director of St. John Paul Shrine; Vice President Cyril Lewis; Secretary Juliet Moras; and Catechism Coordinator Savitha Priya D’Souza. The efforts of Br. Rajath Lobo, Br. Denson D’Silva, and Br. Jonston Fernandes in organizing the camp were also commendable.
The inauguration was conducted beautifully, setting a spiritual and joyful tone for the camp. Around 150 children actively participated, making the event lively and engaging. The program commenced with a prayer song by the children, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere.
The Bible Committee members extended valuable support in organizing the camp. The event was compered by Miss Cleeta. The welcome address was delivered by Savitha Priya D’Souza, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Helen Rosario.
The camp concluded on the final day with a vibrant closing program presented by the children, where they showcased their talents and the lessons they had learned throughout the camp.
Overall, the summer camp proved to be a meaningful, enriching, and spiritually uplifting experience for all participants.
