Holy Family Auditorium resonates with Laughter and Festivity on Children’s Day

St Joseph’s Church, Bajpe, marked Children’s Day with a vibrant celebration held at the Holy Family High School Auditorium. The program began at 10:30 AM with a prayer song led by the children, followed by a symbolic inauguration through the unfolding of butterfly wings carrying inspirational quotes.

The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Rev Fr Andrew Dsouza (Parish Priest, Bajpe), Rev Fr Jesudas Dcosta (Chaplain, St John Paul II Shrine), Rev Fr Kevin Dsouza (Rector, Kripa Sadana Minor Seminary), Rev Fr Francis Dsouza (Spiritual Director, Kripa Sadana Minor Seminary), Sr Jessy Prema (Headmistress, Holy Family High School), Mr Stany Dsouza (PPC Vice President), Mrs Gracy Sequeria (PPC Secretary), Mrs Anita Prema Dcosta (Coordinator, 21 pastoral commissions), and Mrs Savitha Dcosta (Coordinator, Sunday Catechism).

Fr Andrew Dsouza and Mr Stany Dsouza addressed the gathering, extending warm wishes to children and parents. A highlight of the program was the felicitation of Mr Paul Pinto, who generously sponsors meals for children and parents every year.

The celebration featured cultural performances by students from Std 1 to Std 10, along with a special performance by catechism teachers. The program concluded with prize distribution and fellowship meals, leaving children with joyful hearts and smiling faces.
