“Women of Faith, Grace, Strength, and Service: Celebrating Women’s Day at St. Joseph’s Church Bajpe”

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a meaningful program was organized by the women’s association at St. Joseph’s Church Bajpe after the 7:30 a.m. Holy Mass. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the strength, dedication, and invaluable contributions of women in families, the Church, and society.

The program began with a prayer song, inviting God’s blessings upon all women and setting a reflective and joyful tone for the gathering. Adding to the spirit of the celebration, a dance and group song dedicated to women was presented. The song expressed gratitude and appreciation for the countless ways women inspire, nurture, and lead. Parishioners then witnessed two short skits that beautifully portrayed the realities of a woman’s life. Through simple yet powerful storytelling, the skits highlighted the sacrifices, resilience, and love that women demonstrate in their daily lives while balancing responsibilities at home and in society.

One of the most engaging segments of the program was a creative representation of women in society, where participants portrayed women performing various professional and social roles. These included a teacher, police, journalist, lawyer, working professional, politician, entrepreneur, nurse, and many more. This presentation served as a reminder of how women continue to break barriers and make meaningful contributions in every field.

To conclude the celebration on a joyful note, the program featured two short and fun games, encouraging participation and laughter among the women present. The activities brought the gathering together in a spirit of fellowship and celebration.

The Women’s Day program was a simple yet beautiful occasion that honored the dignity, talents, and dedication of women. It also reminded everyone of the important role women play in building families, strengthening the Church, and shaping society. The parish community expressed gratitude and appreciation to all the women for their commitment, service, and inspiring presence in everyday life
