On the solemn morning of Good Friday, the faithful gathered at 8:00 AM to prayerfully participate in the Way of the Cross, reflecting on the passion and suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was one of deep silence and devotion as parishioners walked together, meditating on each of the fourteen stations that recount Christ’s journey to Calvary.
The service began with an opening prayer, inviting everyone to unite their hearts with the suffering of Jesus. As the congregation moved from station to station, scripture readings and reflections helped the faithful contemplate the immense love and sacrifice shown through Christ’s passion. Hymns and responses echoed prayerfully, creating a spirit of reverence and unity among all present.
Families, youth, and elders participated actively, carrying the cross and leading the prayers at different stations. The reflections encouraged everyone to connect the sufferings of Christ with the challenges of daily life, reminding the faithful of hope, forgiveness, and compassion.
The Way of the Cross concluded with a final prayer, urging all to continue living the message of sacrifice and love in their lives. The morning devotion set a solemn tone for the rest of the Good Friday observances, preparing the faithful to more deeply enter into the mystery of Christ’s passion and death.
