The parish community came together in a spirit of joy and gratitude to celebrate the last day of catechism classes on Feb 22, 2025 after 9:00 am mass, marking the successful completion of a year filled with learning, faith formation, and spiritual growth. This special occasion was dedicated to honoring children from 1st to 10th standard who excelled in their catechism examinations. Catechism teachers, who tirelessly nurtured the faith of these young minds, were also acknowledged for their dedication and commitment.
A highlight of the celebration was the prize distribution ceremony, where students who performed exceptionally well in the catechism exams were recognized and rewarded. Their achievements reflect not only academic excellence but also a deep understanding of faith, values, and Christian teachings.
Children walked up with bright smiles and proud hearts to receive their prizes, encouraged by the warm applause of parents, teachers, and parish members. It was truly inspiring to witness their enthusiasm and commitment to growing in faith.
The parish priest, in his message, appreciated the efforts of the children and reminded them to continue living out the values they have learned. He encouraged all students to remain rooted in prayer, kindness, and service.
This meaningful celebration was not just about rewards, but about recognizing the importance of catechism in shaping young lives. It served as a reminder that nurturing faith from a young age builds a strong foundation for the future.
As the catechism year comes to a close, we congratulate all the children for their participation and achievements. May they continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and love.
