Environmental Day by YCS Bajpe

YCS members of Bajpe unit came together to celebrate nature and spread awareness about the importance of protecting our environment. The event was marked by a Sapling Plantation Drive, symbolizing our collective responsibility to nurture the earth for future generations.

YCS members actively participated by planting saplings around the church premises. Each sapling planted represents hope, growth, and a commitment to creating a greener tomorrow. The initiative aimed to encourage everyone to take simple yet meaningful steps in safeguarding the planet. By planting trees, we not only improve air quality but also contribute to biodiversity, reduce carbon footprints, and provide shade and shelter for years to come.

To inspire creativity and spread environmental messages, a Poster Making Competition was also organized. Students showcased their artistic talents by designing thought-provoking posters on conservation and sustainable living. The vibrant posters reflected both creativity and deep concern for the environment. Alongside this, an innovative Bird Feeder Making Competition inspired participants to care for local biodiversity by creating eco-friendly feeders to support and attract birds.

All the members took an Environment Oath, pledging to care for the Earth, reduce plastic usage, conserve water, and actively contribute to sustainable living. The oath served as a reminder of the small yet powerful actions each individual can take to protect our common home.

Through this effort, we affirm our belief that “Small Actions, When Multiplied, Can Make A Big Difference”. Let us join hands to protect nature and ensure a sustainable future.
