A special felicitation ceremony was held at St.Joseph’s Church, Bajpe after the 7.30AM Mass on May 18, 2025, to honor Mr. Santosh Dsouza of St. Francis I ward, on his unanimous election as the new Central President of the Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R), Mangalore Diocese in the elections held on May 11, at the Bishop’s House Hall, Mangaluru. The event marked a proud moment for the parish community, celebrating Mr. Santosh Dsouza’s achievement and commitment to service.
The program commenced with a warm welcome, followed by congratulatory messages and words of appreciation highlighting Mr. Santosh Dsouza’s dedication, leadership qualities, and his longstanding contributions to the Church and society.
Mr. Santosh Dsouza was formally felicitated from the parish by the parish priest Rev Dr Ronald Cutinha, accompanied by Rev Fr Jesudas Dcosta, Mr Stany Dsouza, PPC Vice President and Gracy Sequeira, PPC Secretary with a token of appreciation and a bouquet, symbolizing the parish’s collective pride and support for his new role. The atmosphere was filled with joy and encouragement as parishioners gathered to witness the occasion. The event was gracefully compered by Mrs. Irene Dsilva.
